The Narrow Gate
For I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, "That you're entering into a new season and even a new time," says the Lord. "For yes, there are many that are trying to widen the gate; they're trying to widen the gate. Even in the political arena there is a force that's coming into the land that's trying to widen the gate. But I decree from Matthew Chapter 7 and verse 13, enter through the narrow gate," says the Lord. "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life and only a few find it."

For the Spirit of the Lord decrees that you must go through the narrow gate. You must walk upon the small road. "For I'm decreasing the road," says the Lord. "For my kingdom and my culture is that of mine and only mine. For many have been trying to increase it by their mind, and their intellect, and their reasoning but I decree that the gate is narrow and the road is small," says the Lord. "So even in this hour I war against the anti-Christ spirit that's been released against America; that's been released against the Church; and I decree the narrow gate. It shall manifest itself and those that are ringing and proclaiming, even from the pulpit, the wide gate, I say that they shall feel my judgment; they shall feel my wrath. For my kingdom is not of this kingdom," says the Lord.

"So stand in my definition as I decree apostolically the definition to the nations. As I decree to you in your life. The gate must become narrower. Some things will not be able to go through that you brought through in the past," says the Lord. "I am not decreeing a wider gate even in this city. Some stand up and decree all are welcome, all is welcome. But I decree that sin is sin; that uncleanness is uncleanness; and I am saying that the gate is getting narrower even over this nation.

So think it not strange that some even come and rise up – some even will say, politically, 'this is the way that we go; this is the way that we are to become.' "And I say that the Church has even grown cold. And I'm saying unto you it will not be popular to preach the narrow road; but the road is small. Receive my decree!" says the Lord. "Receive my decree!" says the Lord. "Do not permit that spirit to come in to widen what I've narrowed. For in the narrowing there comes definition, and in the defining there comes a purifying, and in the purifying there comes my glory," says the Lord. "For now even in this hour I decree the war is on against the spirit of anti-Christ and the humanistic spirit that's rising up even through the political system. It's those that say they have favor, have not my favor – be not deceived. And even those in the Church, they'll begin to back those that are not of me. So this hour I decree my holiness," says the Lord. "I declare my presence over thee. For many in the next two years will say, 'I have not felt Him. I have not heard Him. I have not seen Him.' Think it not strange…because they've gone the wide way. They've compromised and they've allowed things and they've called it God.

Direction of the Nation & the Church
For yes, I've even given this nation a reprieve. For eight years I've given this nation the opportunity to stand up and become what it was to become. But now I say there's a shift that's coming even to the nation and some will cry and they'll say, 'Why has it gone this way?' Because you've let your guard down," says the Lord. "For even you are shifting in justice. For even you are thinking, 'we should not be even in that nation.' For I say that I am a God of justice. I am a God of war. For yes, I war against the principalities and the powers that steal and rob and plunder my people even from other nations. For I raised up a man," says the Lord. "For yes, he was a man of righteousness and that's why he's not popular and that's why he's been spoken against. But I say that even now this nation will move in another direction and they shall be deceived. But I am raising up a remnant and I say there's even persecution coming to the Church. So I ask you this hour what's inside of you. Are you going to be a Peter that runs or a Peter that stands? The road is small; the gate is narrow. Lift your hands to me. For yes there'll be a price to declare my kingdom and my glory. I'm working on the inside of you, I'm working on the inside of you, I'm working on the inside of you. I'm working on your wineskin. I'm working on whether you live by fear or by faith. I'm working on the warrior on the inside of you. I'm working on the one that wants to compromise. I'm placing a pioneering spirit, a spirit of reformation on the inside of you. So receive it this day; receive it this hour and know that the gate is getting narrower. Do not be deceived. Oh not everything is welcome in my kingdom," says the Lord.

The Middle East
I want to say this… I'm not a politician but the Lord is pulling me to another level. If we pull our troops out of Iraq, we will lose the Middle East. I'm prophesying it…if we pull our troops prematurely out of Iraq, we will lose the Middle East. I'm telling you. You say well it's a natural thing – no God ordained it. God ordained it. If we compromise there we'll compromise in many other things. We've compromised on the Islamic spirit in America. We've compromised on the homosexual spirit in America. I wanna tell you, I wanna tell you…in the next year, in the next year, you're gonna hear more lies than you've ever heard from politicians…and the press already they're starting to change from where they were eight years ago; they're starting to change. And the idolatry that we've experienced in this nation will only increase. We are heading down the path of deception, if we're not careful. We must listen.

The Church
I prophesy to the Church this morning – hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. Lay down what your books are saying; lay down what your training is saying; lay down what your mind is saying and what your body is feeling and hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. I hear the Lord saying that in the midst of tightness, in the midst of a narrow gate there's going to come a great move of God's Spirit. "For many thought that it would come by a man being put into place. But I decree that it comes when there's evil leading a nation. That is the time like the time of Daniel where great things begin to happen," says the Lord. For I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, "The next four years…the next four years things will be shifting like never before. Nations will be changing…nations will be changing." I hear the Lord saying, "Stop praying for your own needs – start praying for your nation. Stop praying about your own buildings and your own money and start praying for the fate of your nation," says the Lord. "It will shift one way or the other."
